Empowering services to help people thrive
Growing the potential of children, families and the community
For 70 years Growing Potential has been dedicated to providing not-for-profit services to the community. Our focus is helping those who need it most. Our strength is in our experience – we’re big enough to offer a wide range of services, but small enough to offer a personal touch to all of our clients.
INDIGENOUS SERVICES
Empowering your mob and the local community with services run by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Windaan is a new community and health service located in Coffs Harbour, servicing the Mid North Coast. Windaan was created to help and support Aboriginal children, families and the community by providing culturally appropriate NDIS and early childhood intervention services.
CHILDCARE SERVICES
This is where it all began – in Blacktown in 1948. We’re still a proud community, not-for-profit organisation providing meaningful child care services to grow the potential of children so they can create a better future for themselves and their community.
We now have six Children First sites including preschools, long day care centres, occasional care, as well as outside school hours and vacation care.
COMMUNITY SERVICES
Supporting families and the community with play groups, free parenting programs, learning and developmental checks.
Familylinks offers supported play groups, free parenting programs, workshops and sessions. We can also assist parents in recognising developmental concerns and provide links to the relevant community, medical or early intervention service providers.
CARE Project is designed to support people with disability, support someone who does, or work as a service provider in the industry. Everyone is welcome, including those not eligible for the NDIS. Our programs are tailored to meet the needs of culturally diverse communities, with a focus on First Nations peoples.
